Give me a humble heart, O God,
a heart that looks at You;
a heart that isn’t concerned with self
but keeps Your glory in view.
Fill my soul with love, O Lord,
the love that never fails;
the love that shares Your joy and peace
and all that this entails.
Give me a made up mind, O Lord,
a mind that is renewed;
a mind that thinks upon the things
that are lovely, pure and good
O may my praise and worship, Lord,
ascend to heaven’s throne
through daily living the life that pleases
You and You alone.

I was there when you went through the darkness I was there when you couldn't see light When your troubles were just like a shroud As they hid all My blessings from sight
I was there when the world turned its back I was there when your skies were so grey When a friend was nowhere to be found when you felt that you'd gone far astray As the dewdrops descend in the morning As the stars up above fill the sky as the sunshine in summer or winter in all seasons My presence is nigh As you walk through this life on your journey, never knowing what you'll face each day, just remember that I'm always with you.
